If you'd like to write to someone about how you feel, please email jo@samaritans.org. This is a totally confidential and anonymous service for anyone - your email will be hidden and they aim to send you an email response within 24hrs.

You can also find immediate email support at IMAlive. This is an international service and open to anyone in crisis.

But if you feel that you are able to talk to a caring stranger the phone book in whichever country you are living will have a helpline number listed in its first few pages. You can always end the call, and it is 100% anonymous.

These websites have a great deal of online support and information:  The Tomorrow Project  and  psychcentral.com

If you like quotes or poetry then you might find posts on lessonslearnedinlife.com useful, or @nikita_gill on Instagram.

And here are some country based helplines - they all welcome anyone. Some even have text or online chat functions.
